Two years, 27 stops, countless cattle dogs. The duck is tired. And it is fitting that as she began her pilgrimage in the spring of 2005, she will also come to rest in the spring -- now 2007. She has acquired considerable treasure during her adventure and that is hers to keep. Rest well, dear canard. You have endured so many bad jokes at your expense and had way, way too many rude dogs shoved up your suit.
As this will be the Duck's last installment, the photos are many and large. (Go mow the lawn or defrost the frig if you have dial-up.) Sharing the spotlight is the Pittsburgh contingent of ACDs, and it is also the first unveiling -- outside Pennsylvania -- of those two Hooligans Elvis and Tiger, who lead such a sad, tormented existence. The photos are shocking, more for what they manage to conceal about those poor dogs' twisted lives than what they reveal.
One last editor's note: Purely as a disclaimer, even though it looks like it, Coors Light was not a sponsor for this photo shoot.
